Tapper Financial Services grew out of a family business in Devon, Tapper & Sons, dating back to 1856. After many years running businesses for other people, Martin started running his own mortgage company in 2006.
Our offices are in Birch, just outside Colchester, The Mortgages Company/Tapper Financial Services is a specialist mortgage advice and insurance firm. Martin Tapper and Loess Overbury-Tapper are married and run the business together.
Martin is a Certified Mortgage and Insurance Advisor and has a degree in Economic History and French. A keen sportsman, he loves winning and getting things done, especially the more difficult challenges created by the current economic climate.
Loess is a stickler for detail and runs the back office making sure that all of the mortgage deals get completed on time. Loess is also fluent in several languages and is a keen tennis player and also loves ski-ing.
